Use Foundations#
Sixty original instruments built from portable Volta synthesis, with four independent normalized controls per instance and no external samples or plugins. The original twelve circuits and defaults remain unchanged.

All have Tone, Body and Decay, plus a fourth 0–1 control with a specific musical destination. Envelopes and circuit settings latch per note; filter, balance, LFO depth, saturation and other signal controls remain live. Scenes can automate them with with { bass.tone = ramp 0.25 0.72 }.

Source and audition#
Canonical library: examples/songs/creator_foundations.volta. The registered foundations_tour auditions all sixty in order, with named markers. The original foundations_beat, foundations_song and foundations_atmosphere remain available.
Search Dance Fugues in the song picker for twelve complete arrangements using all sixty instruments: 40.7 minutes of house, garage, techno, trance, electro, breaks and drum and bass. Each has a distinct subject and groove, three contrapuntal voices, explicit staggered entries, episodes, augmentation, inversion, diminution, stretto, and a written cadence. Asset sync generates browser source copies. The native engine audit covers 3,386 stress probes, including every control corner, register extremes, velocity, live movement, overlap, determinism and instance isolation. Native/ Wasm compilation, preset audio comparisons, fugue timelines and independent FFmpeg delivery metering accompany the sources. Automated validation does not claim a human listening or visible workbench interaction pass.
